Publisher’s yellow boards with original red cloth spine and black lettering — spine is uncommonly in excellent condition with no fading or wear, front cover with ruling around red square, yellow covers with typical soiling for yellow boards, but very little wear to extremities. Interior with front hinge cracked but attached, no prior ownership markings, no foxing, folds or tears —complete with all colour plates, photographic illustrations and drawings. Scarce.

The German design community and schools were inspired by and influenced by the innovative works of Frank Lloyd Wright, so this publication was ultimately highly influential toward attitudes, technology and aesthetics in contemporary German architecture and the Bauhaus School.
