A well-illustrated and very well-written narrative by the famous Danish Arctic explorer Knud Rasmussen. The book presents accounts of tribal life of remote Eskimos, including their religious and spiritual life, hunting, women, etc. This is an important and scarce book discussing and illustrating early Polar Eskimo life and culture primarily in Northeast Greenland. Scarce.
