A first-person narrative by Amundsen, Ellsworth, and First-Lieutenants in the Royal Norwegian Navy Riiser-Larsen and Leif Dietrichson of the planning and flight from continent to continent, via the North Pole, in May 1925. The flight was undertaken in the Italian dirigible N1 (Norge). The explorers advanced as far as 88 degrees north before being forced to turn back. A well-preserved copy of this important narrative.
